Ridgelee Roost

At our associated residence, Ridgelee Roost, we also offer Bed & Breakfast and/or Self Catering accommodation in extensive and secluded grounds off Ridgelee Road, in the convenient area of Avondale. Accommodation comprises:

Two guest rooms with ensuite facilities.

A third has adjacent toilet and bathroom, not shared.

Comfortable lounge, patio and dining areas.

Satellite television together with a swimming pool is provided and because of regular utilities failures in Harare we have an electricity generator and private water facilities. We also offer laundry services at a small extra charge.

A full home-cooked breakfast and/or Continental is available from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. We do not provide evening meals. Wines and spirits are available and we operate an "honesty bar" policy. Alternatively, guests may bring their own supplies.

Shops, restaurants and internet facilities are nearby. We regret we are not yet able to offer internet at Ridgelee but facilities are available by arrangement at Bowood Lodge.

Check-in time is from 12:00 pm on the day of arrival and we ask that you contact us in advance if you expect to arrive earlier or after 7:00 pm. On the final day of their visit, guests are requested to check out by 11:00 am but we recognise that travel arrangements may impose difficulties; if so, please let us know in advance.

Payment

Regrettably, we do not have credit/debit card facilities which are not common in Zimbabwe. Certain local banks accept international debit/credit cards but often with daily-limit restrictions. Travellers cheques are not widely acceptable. We strongly advise that you check arrangements with your bank prior travel. We therefore ask guests to make payment for room charges in cash (US dollars) on arrival. Any extras will be payable at the end of your stay.
