Bookings with Bowood Lodge & Ridgelee Roost
We may request a 50% confirmation fee to secure your booking:
upon the length of your stay, and/or
You wish to book all available accommodation at Bowood Lodge or at Ridgelee
Roost for one day or more, and/or
b) For bookings made one month, or earlier, before your arrival
are only confirmed following receipt of the 50% deposit and, in the case
of all bookings, when the
client has received a booking confirmation form or email from us.
We regret that cancelled bookings will result in forfeiture of confirmation fees
a) Cancellations within 3 days of arrival date - 100% of
b) Cancellations within 10 days of arrival date - 50% of
other cancellations will bear a 10% administration fee.

Checkout at Bowood Lodge & Ridgelee Roost
Guests are welcome to check in to their accommodation between 2pm and
8:00pm on the day of arrival. Late arrivals can be accommodated by prior

For the comfort of our guests, Bowood Lodge and Ridgelee Roost are
strictly non- smoking establishments.
not accept any liability for loss of or damage to any valuables or
property belonging to guests or their visitors. However, safes are
provided at both Bowood Lodge and Ridgelee Roost.
It is therefore the sole responsibility of all guests to make
arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items prior
to arrival. This includes but is not limited to, photographic equipment,
laptops or other electronic devices, jewellery, cash and vehicles.
Whilst we take every care to ensure the safety of guests and their
possessions whilst enjoying our accommodation at Bowood Lodge and
Ridgelee Roost, we do not accept any liability in the event that any
loss or damage to persons or property is experienced by a guest. Guests
are advised that there is no net on the swimming pool. The use of the
swimming pool is solely the guests responsibility.
Loss or Damage
to Bowood Lodge or to Ridgelee Roost
Should Bowood Lodge or Ridgelee Roost suffer any loss or damage as a
result of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest
will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage
incurred and will be billed accordingly.
Bowood Lodge and Ridgelee Roost at all times reserve the full right of
admission and accept no liability for any loss or damage that may result
from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights.
Should Bowood Lodge or Ridgelee Roost at any time need to exercise this
right, no reimbursements or refunds will be made in this regard.
